Geneseo Blue evening festival will be held on Saturday November 5th, from 6:30 until 10:30, at the Riviera Theater, located on Center Street, in the heart of Geneseo New York. Three acts will be featured at this Blues Event covering a range of styles and presentations.
The opening act is Access Indigo which is a young, high energy band that plays Rockin’ Blues and Blues inspired originals.

Next, Gordon Munding, a Rochester based performer and musicologist, offers up his solo rendition of a range of early traditional Blues Roots music on guitar and Dobro.  His segment includes brief descriptions of the truly American music form that laid the foundation for Rock, Jazz and greatly influenced Modern Country.

The Grand Finale features The Genesee Johnny Band. Genesee Johnny is an up-and-coming Blues performer from the Rochester music scene. He is a fine singer and a master on guitar and National Steel. His accomplished band-mates include Tim Brinduse, Dan Lopata, Tristan Greene, Alex Disljenkovic. These seasoned musicians have played throughout the region with the likes of Joe Beard, Chris Beard, Steve Grills, John Cole, Hanna PK and esteemed blues founder Mr. Son House. This set will feature a variety of Blues favorites and Originals played in the modern style.

Tickets are available online at $15.00 and for $18.00 at the door. All profits will go to fund the Geneseo “Concert In the Park” series that begins its seventh season in June 2017.
