American singer, songwriter, pianist, and 2019 Grammy Award nominee Victor Wainwright will be performing at The Geneseo Riviera November 16th. Wainwright continues to broaden his musical scope starting his career off in rock n’roll to what is now a mix of different scope of blues. This dynamic range of music has proven him as a world-renowned piano player and performer. Wainwright continues to be a soul-bearing, dynamic performer with progressive roots music.

In 2017, Wainwright won BMA Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year. In 2016, Wainwright won the Blues Music Award for both Entertainer of the Year and Band of the Year. In both 2013 and 2014, Wainwright won the ‘Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year’ at the Blues Music Award ceremonies. Also in 2013, his collaborative album, Easy Livin’, made the Top 10 in the US Billboard Top Blues Album chart.
